Bollywood Sports biopic drama

Mary Kom....  Well i should start with the fact that I knew more about the world champion  than the movie told me. What I didn't know was the  fact that background score was a major part of her life.
Which is pretty cool except for the fact that it's not possible.
I guess  most bollywood flicks at the end of the day have to make money and for that it is very vital to squeeze into the movie whatever emotions that a human being can experience , just so you feel you have gotten your money's worth after having felt sad, Happy, angry, romantic, annoyed, irritated, elated, patriotic etc etc.
I'm not saying the movie was not good, but it could have done a lot better.

For instance the scene when the protagonist gets a mighty blow from her German counterpart and is knocked out cold, just at that instant her baby (who is admitted in the hospital) loses her pulse .
And when she opens her eyes to amass all the courage to get up and fight her german counterpart, the aforementioned baby's E.C.G. just at that instant miraculously starts to beep again.
Of course i need not explain that after this she got up ,beat the crap out of her opponent and the baby was ok. Meanwhile there were the silent moments with the background score that just got to my nerves.

Even though the actress did a great job with the script and really worked her ass off to fit the bill of a world champion, ethnically she stood out like a sore thumb.

Personally it was a little funny to have her play an ethnicity that she looked nothing like. The least they could have done was to make her up in a way that made her look like she was from Manipur.

Well  like they say " you can't look too deep into anything, you are bound to find flaws". So I shall restrict myself and say that the movie was ok,  nothing different from the run of the mill movies that bollywood belts out.

Watch the movie if

1. You like uttranchal, coz most of the movie is filmed there and not Manipur
2. You want to know a lil bit about the world champion Mary Kom, though I would suggest                Wikipedia any day
3. To see how Priyanka Chopra has trained her self to get into shape to play the world champion.
4. You are getting bored
5. You want to know how iodex relieves muscle ache.
